Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital early Tuesday morning after suffering health complications. The 90-year-old was brought in around 8:30 am and later shifted to the ICU, prompting concern across the film industry and among fans.

Admitted To ICU In Emergency

According to a statement issued by Dr Jalil Parkar, Salim Khan was rushed to the hospital by the family doctor and admitted under emergency care. He was later moved to the intensive care unit for close monitoring.

Reports suggest the veteran writer experienced breathing issues, leading his family to immediately take him to the hospital. Soon after the news broke, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan and other family members were seen arriving at Lilavati Hospital.
