Jana Nayagan Review: Vijay Haters Spread Negative Reviews After Full Movie Leaked Online

For over a decade, movies of Vijay have faced on or the other issue. Be it Kavalan or Thalaiva, the films of the Tamil actor, who has forayed into politics with his new outfit TVK, have run into trouble.

His latest movie Jana Nayagan too has met with similar fate. But this time, it has gone to the extent of the film being leaked online even as it is yet to get clearance from the Censor Board. This development has not only shocked the fans but also has united the film industry.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, in a post on X, wrote, "The release of the Jana Nayagan film on the internet by someone has caused shock and pain.

Film associations must raise their voice against this, and the government must identify those responsible and impose severe punishment. Such crimes must not be allowed to continue in the future."

Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi extended his support to the team with a post: "The unfortunate leak of #Jananayagan is something that deeply concerns me. Cinema is built on trust, effort, and the collective dreams of many. Such incidents affect all of us in the industry and remind us how crucial it is to protect our creative work. My thoughts and support are with the movie team. Let us all take responsibility to respect and protect cinema. Kill Piracy. Save Cinema."

Kamal Haasan said, "The leak of #Jananayagan is not an accident - it is the result of systemic failure. Had due process been timely, we would not be here. While the support might give a relief to the makers KVN Productions, a section of netizens are using the opportunity to bring down the movie by giving negative reviews from the leaked content.

While the fans of Vijay's rival actors often target his movies with negative reviews during the release of the films, this time, his political enemies too seem like are engaged in bad-mouthing his latest flick Jana Nayagan.

Andhra Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi movie was leaked before its release in 2013. However, the movie stuck gold upon its release.

Coming back to Jana Nayagan, the movie was supposed to be released on January 9 for Pongal festival. However, the release of the flick was postponed over the last-minute censor trouble.
