Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking: Ranveer's Film Mints Big In Bengaluru, Mumbai; Rs 50-Cr Mark By This Weekend

Advance bookings for Dhurandhar: The Revenge have opened on a strong note across India, with the film witnessing impressive early demand in several major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The action drama, also known as Dhurandhar 2, has already generated significant buzz ahead of its premiere shows.

According to early trade data from Sacnilk, the film has grossed ₹32.11 crore including blocked seats through advance bookings nationwide. Even without counting block bookings, ticket sales remain robust across key urban markets and multiplex chains.

It now looks like the movie will cross Rs 50 crore business by this weekend.

Strong Response in Major Cities

Among the top-performing regions, the National Capital Region (NCR) has emerged as the biggest contributor so far. Advance sales in Delhi and surrounding cities have reached ₹5.19 crore without block seats (₹5.74 crore including block seats) across 1,138 shows, with 412 shows almost full and 206 filling fast. The response suggests strong opening-day footfall in north India.

Mumbai, the country's largest theatrical market, is also witnessing solid demand. The city has recorded ₹4.93 crore in advance bookings (₹5.47 crore with block seats) across 808 shows, with 330 shows already nearing full capacity.

In Bengaluru, the film has registered one of the highest occupancy levels among major metros. The city has grossed ₹4.25 crore (₹4.45 crore including block seats) with a striking 55% real occupancy across 498 shows, indicating a particularly strong reception among audiences in Karnataka.

Similarly, Hyderabad has recorded ₹1.29 crore in advance bookings (₹1.93 crore including block seats) with 49% occupancy across 349 shows, while Chennai has reported ₹63.82 lakh (₹92.32 lakh with block seats) with a high 57% occupancy, signalling strong interest in the southern markets.

Maharashtra and Karnataka Lead State-Wise

On a state level, Maharashtra is currently the biggest contributor with ₹7.11 crore in advance ticket sales (₹8 crore including block seats) across 1,637 shows, supported by strong bookings in Mumbai and Pune.

Karnataka follows closely with ₹4.7 crore (₹4.98 crore including block seats) from 714 shows, backed by strong demand in Bengaluru. The state has recorded 44% occupancy, one of the highest among large markets.

In Delhi, which is counted separately in trade data, advance bookings have already reached ₹5.19 crore, further underlining the film's strong northern pull.

Good Momentum Across Southern Markets

Apart from Karnataka, the southern states are also showing promising traction. Telangana has registered ₹1.51 crore in advance sales (₹2.27 crore including block seats) with 43% occupancy, while Tamil Nadu has generated ₹1.15 crore (₹1.66 crore including block seats) from 529 shows.

Kerala has collected ₹60.68 lakh, with several theatres reporting rapidly filling shows.

Moderate but Growing Demand in North and East

States such as Punjab (₹71.34 lakh), Rajasthan (₹65.91 lakh) and Uttar Pradesh (₹88.87 lakh) have reported steady bookings that are expected to grow closer to release day.

In eastern markets, West Bengal has recorded ₹89.93 lakh, while Bihar (₹24.76 lakh) and Jharkhand (₹14.64 lakh) have also contributed to the advance booking tally.

Trade Expectations

Trade analysts believe the strong advance booking numbers indicate a potentially big opening weekend for Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The film has already crossed ₹32 crore in advance sales including block bookings, and the numbers are expected to climb significantly as the release approaches.

With strong traction in metro cities and growing momentum in tier-2 markets, the film appears poised for a powerful box office start. If the current trend continues, Dhurandhar 2 could emerge as one of the biggest opening-day performers of the season.
