He highlighted Saravanan's deep family and professional connection to the Dravidian movement: "As a son and a film personality, he brought fame to his respected father, the late A.V. Meiyappan, fondly known as 'Appachi.' The AVM company has a long history of association with Dravidian cinema, having produced classic works like Perarignar Anna's 'Or Iravu', Thalaivar Kalaignar's 'Parasakthi', and Murasoli Maran's 'Kuladeivam'. This professional bond evolved into a family affair, making AVM Saravanan a cherished part of our own family."

CM Stalin recalled their recent meeting: "When I visited the AVM Heritage Museum in May 2023, he fondly shared those memories and interacted with me with great affection. I express my deepest condolences and heartfelt solace to the AVM family and his countless friends in the film industry who are grieving the loss of his calm, simple personality, and kindness to all."
