Deadly Explosion Claims 23 Lives
A massive explosion took place at a firecracker manufacturing unit on Sunday, killing at least 23 people. Several others were seriously injured in the incident.

Families Refuse to Take Bodies
In a strong protest, the families of the victims have refused to receive the bodies of their loved ones. They have blocked roads in the area to draw attention to their demands.

The families are demanding ₹20 lakh as compensation for each victim. They are also calling for strict action against those responsible for the accident.

At least 23 people were charred to death, and six others sustained grievous injuries following a massive explosion on Sunday.

As of now, there has been no official announcement of ex-gratia compensation from either the state or central government, which has added to the anger among the victims' families.
