As per today's rates, 24 karat gold, considered the purest form of the yellow metal, is priced at ₹15,374 per gram in Tamil Nadu. The rate stands at ₹153,740 for 10 grams and ₹1,537,400 for 100 grams, while one kilogram of 24K gold costs ₹15,374,000. On the international measurement scale, one ounce of 24K gold is priced at ₹435,846, and one tola costs ₹179,319, the data said.

925 sterling silver, commonly used in ornaments and accessories, is trading at ₹251 per gram, while 900 coin silver is priced at ₹245 per gram. 800 German silver is available at ₹217 per gram, catering to decorative and utility demand.
