Ajith Will Enter Politics In 2032 To Revive AIADMK: Astrologer's Prediction Goes Viral

An old post of an astrologer's prediction on Ajith Kumar's political entry has drawn a lot of attention on social media. It comes at a time when his contemporary Vijay has founded TVK and contesting in upcoming Tamil Nadu elections.

The post, made by astrologer Prashanth Kini, predicts a dramatic political future involving popular Tamil stars Ajith Kumar and Vijay, along with BJP leader K. Annamalai.

Kini's prediction, originally posted on July 2, 2023, has gone viral again after Vijay formally launched his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in February 2024. In the old post, the astrologer had claimed that Tamil Nadu politics would witness a major three-way battle after 2032 involving Annamalai, Ajith Kumar and Vijay.

"My prediction about Tamil Nadu politics: After 2032 there will be a tough fight between Annamalai from BJP, Thala Ajith Kumar from AIADMK and Ilayathalapathy Vijay from his own political party," Kini had written in the post.

At the time, the prediction drew little attention. However, after Vijay's political entry became official, social media users began revisiting the post. Many were particularly intrigued by Kini's claim that Ajith Kumar - widely known for staying away from politics - would eventually step into the arena.

Interestingly, when a follower had reminded the astrologer that Ajith had repeatedly expressed disinterest in politics, Kini confidently replied, "He will also come."

The resurfaced prediction gained further traction after another post by the astrologer dated February 12, 2025, where he reiterated the claim more specifically. "Thala Ajith Kumar will enter politics in 2032... He will revive AIADMK," he wrote, referring to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, once led by iconic figures like M. G. Ramachandran and J. Jayalalithaa.

Kini had also stirred conversation with another controversial post about Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan. Drawing a comparison with the famous political and cinematic partnership of MGR and Jayalalithaa, he speculated whether Vijay and Trisha could recreate a similar "magic" in Tamil Nadu politics.

"Thalapathy Vijay is trying to recreate the MGR and Jayalalithaa saga," he wrote, adding a series of rhetorical questions about whether the duo could replicate the historic influence that shaped Tamil Nadu's political history.

While the posts have generated curiosity and speculation, the authenticity and accuracy of such predictions remain uncertain. Many social media users have pointed out that astrological forecasts should be taken with a pinch of salt, especially when they involve major political developments years into the future.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu's political ground reality is already evolving. The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, which currently leads a powerful alliance of around 26 parties, appears confident as the state gears up for the 2026 Assembly elections.

On the other hand, the AIADMK is trying to rebuild its strength after the passing of Jayalalithaa and the subsequent internal challenges. The party is reportedly keen on bringing Vijay's TVK into the NDA fold to strengthen the opposition space against the DMK.

Whether Ajith Kumar will actually step into politics in the coming decade remains purely speculative for now. The actor has consistently maintained a distance from political discussions and has largely focused on his film career.

But in a state where cinema and politics have historically shared a deep connection, even a decade-old prediction is enough to ignite conversations. For now, the viral posts remain an intriguing "what if" scenario - one that continues to fuel debates among fans, political watchers and social media users.

However, it has to be noted that rumours were doing rounds post Jayalalithaa's death that Ajith would be her successor.
