Man in Brown T-Shirt Flashes at 33-Year-Old Woman Walking Her Dog in Bengaluru’s Domlur

A 33-year-old woman from West Bengal residing in East Bengaluru has alleged that she was sexually harassed by an unidentified man while walking her dog in Domlur on 1 November.

According to her complaint filed with the Indiranagar police, the incident took place around 11:55 am on 5th Main Road in Domlur Second Stage. The accused allegedly flashed at her and behaved in an obscene manner before fleeing the spot.

The woman, who works at a private firm, told police that she was out for her routine morning walk near Wind Chimes Apartment on 5th Main Road, 2nd Stage, Domlur when someone called out "Madam" from behind. When she turned, she saw a man, believed to be in his 30s, wearing a brown T-shirt and grey zip-style shorts. The man allegedly stared at her, exposed himself, and continued the act despite her visible discomfort. Shocked and frightened, she ran back home with her dog.

She later informed her sister and a male friend about the incident and filed a complaint the following day. Based on her statement, the Indiranagar police registered a case under Section 75 (sexual harassment) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

A senior police officer said CCTV camera footage from the area is being examined to identify the accused. Investigators are checking nearby routes and entry points for any clues. Police have appealed to residents of the locality to report any suspicious individuals or incidents to help with the probe.

Police have registered a case for an obscene act in public, sexual harassment, and intent to outrage the modesty of a woman. Efforts are under way to trace the man based on the description given by the complainant.
