Darshan’s Wife Vijayalakshmi Files Complaint Over Online Abuse Amid Fans War

Actor Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi, has filed a formal complaint with the Central Crime Branch (CCB) after visiting her husband in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. The complaint comes amid an ongoing "fans war" between Darshan and Kichcha Sudeep supporters, which has been trending on social media in recent days.

According to police sources, Vijayalakshmi brought screenshots and photos of abusive posts targeting her family. She said more than 150 comments online insult and defame them. The complaint requests an investigation into the accounts spreading this content on various platforms.

Before approaching the CCB, Vijayalakshmi first went to the Banashankari police station. The officers there advised her that cyber-related cases fall under a special unit and directed her to the cyber crime station, which works alongside the CCB in the city police commissioner's office.

Vijayalakshmi, accompanied by her lawyer, then met CCB joint commissioner Ajay Hilori and handed over the written complaint along with supporting evidence. Officials confirmed that the complaint focuses on online abuse and defamatory messages.

The complaint follows a visit Vijayalakshmi and Darshan's brother, Dinakar Thoogudeepa, made to the actor in prison on 23 December. The family spent around 30 minutes with Darshan, discussing the ongoing social media conflict, reactions from fans, and updates about Darshan's upcoming film, Devil.

During the meeting, Vijayalakshmi reportedly explained the pressure caused by the abusive posts and briefed Darshan about the situation outside, including media coverage and fan reactions. After the visit, she left some fruits for Darshan before filing the complaint with the authorities.

The "fans war" in Sandalwood has attracted widespread attention online, with supporters of both stars exchanging harsh comments. With the complaint now being reviewed by the CCB, fans are curious about any messages Darshan may share through his family. Officials have confirmed that the investigation into social media abuse is ongoing.
