Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Heavy Traffic Expected Near Palace Grounds; Police Advise Alternate Routes
Bengaluru traffic police on Friday issued an advisory and announced multiple diversions in view of the ICDS Golden Jubilee celebrations being held at Krishna Vihara (Gate No. 1) inside Palace Grounds. The event, organised by the Karnataka State Women and Child Development Department, is expected to see a massive turnout, including the Chief Minister, Union and State ministers, senior officials and nearly 40,000 attendees. Vehicles from High Grounds will be diverted towards Kalpana Junction, Old Udaya TV Junction, Cantonment Railway Station, Tannery Road and Nagawara. Heavy vehicles from Yeshwanthpur will not be permitted on CV Raman Road.
Parking has been prohibited on Palace Road, Nandidurga Road, Ballari Road, CV Raman Road, Jayamahal Road and Guttahalli Road for the duration of the event. The city police have requested motorists to cooperate and follow the diversions to avoid delays.
