Bengaluru Power Cut Today: BESCOM Declares Power Outage Up To 4-Hours; Affected Areas

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM has declared power outages up to 4-hours in more than 30 locations on Wednesday, February 11. The electricity disruption will be due to maintenance work, load shedding or planned schedule. The power outage will vary depending upon the locations and substations. For instance, BESCOM will carry power outage from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Bengaluru Power Cut On February 11:

On this day, the outage is expected to begin from early hours in the Hebbal region, as part of their planned maintenance and infrastructure strengthening works. The shutdown is tied to emergency work at the Sahakarnagar 66/11 kV substation, which is operated by KPTCL for the Hebbal section.

Affected Areas: 11 am to 3 pm

Among affected areas are --- Byatarayanapura Jakkur Housing Area, GKVK Layout, Jakkur Plantation and Yashada Nagar Amruthahalli, Amruthahalli B Block, C Block, D Block, SQAL Layout, Sampigehalli and Agrahara village. Jayasurya Layout, Vidhansowdha Layout, Saibaba Layout and Telecom Layout are covered as well.

Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited is responsible for Power distribution in Eight districts of Karnataka (Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Davanagere, Tumkur, Chitradurga and Ramanagara). BESCOM covers an area of 41,092 Sq. Kms. with a population of over 207 lakhs.
